About Me
Hi there!
My name is Emma, I'm 29 years old and I am an Honours Year student at the University of the West of Scotland in Paisley. I am studying a Business Technology degree and I am currently taking a Digital Marketing module which requires me to create a blog as part of my coursework, hence the reason for this blog!
Not only am I a student, I am engaged to a wonderful man called Mark who is a secondary school teacher and I am also a mum to two beautiful girls, Cerys who is 9 years of age and Isla-Rose who is just 16 months.
We were told to pick a topic which is of interest to us and which we could talk about in depth. I thought what better than to write about my experiences of being a student while also being a mum! I had Isla-Rose when I was only 2 weeks into my third year of university and then returned only 2 weeks after having her, so I know only too well the struggles and pressures of trying to study and achieve high grades while having young children.
This blog hasn't been made to give advice necessarily but simply to give insight into the "the good, the bad and the downright ugly" sides to being a mum while at university! However, if you do have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment and I'd be happy to talk to you. :)
